Deputy Executive Director / Senior Education Consultant

Inde­pen­dent Schools Tas­ma­nia (IST) is a non-prof­it organ­i­sa­tion whose core pur­pose is to serve the inde­pen­dent schools of Tas­ma­nia through rep­re­sen­ta­tion, advo­ca­cy and support.

We are seek­ing a per­son with the nec­es­sary knowl­edge, skills and expe­ri­ence to assist schools to devel­op, main­tain and enhance qual­i­ty teach­ing and learn­ing, and to empow­er school lead­er­ship to meet stu­dents’ needs.

The Deputy Exec­u­tive Direc­tor leads a small team of edu­ca­tion con­sul­tants and rep­re­sents IST on rel­e­vant nation­al and state work­ing groups.
