Closing the GAPS and Working with Families (North)
This professional learning introduces, or serves as a refresher for, the Grammar and Phonology Screening (GAPS) Test with a focus on using data to guide teaching. Participants will explore how to administer the tool and analyse results to provide targeted whole-class, small-group, and individual support for improved literacy and language outcomes. We will also consider ways to share and use this information in partnership with families to strengthen children’s learning and development.
