MIND Moderation Day
Independent Schools Tasmania is pleased to present the second annual Primary Mathematics Moderation Day, a valuable opportunity to strengthen assessment practices and connect with fellow educators who are passionate about mathematics teaching and learning.
Guest presenter Rachel Whitney-Smith, Curriculum Specialist in Mathematics at ACARA, will lead this hands-on moderation workshop, sharing practical strategies to support consistent and evidence-informed teacher judgement.
The focus of this yearโs moderation tasks will be Additive Thinking and Problem Solving.
To support the moderation process, please bring three completed and marked work samples for each year level you teach. We encourage you to bring de-identified samples that represent students who are approaching the standard, at the standard and above the standard.
