Who is speaking
In this session we will invite Early Years educators to unpack the Numeracy Progressions.
The Numeracy Learning Progressions outline a sequence of observable indicators of increasingly sophisticated understanding and skills in 15 key numeracy concepts. They provide all teachers with a comprehensive view of numeracy learning within these key concepts.
In this session we unpack the Numeracy Learning Progressions from Prep to Grade 2.
What you will learn

- 1.5: Differentiate teaching to meet the specific needs of students across the full range of abilities.
- 2.1: Content and teaching strategies of the teaching area.
- 2.5: Literacy and numeracy strategies.
