Who is speaking
In 2022 the Australian Education Research Organisation (AERO) released a report that highlighted the need to ensure adequate sentence-level writing instruction across the primary and secondary years.
IST have planned a sequence of four systematic practical PL sessions in collaboration with Brooke Wardana from Shaping Minds Australia, to support teachers and Literacy Leaders to build their capacity and pedagogical knowledge in the sentence level writing domain, with the aim of improving student outcomes.
***Registered participants will receive four emails over two terms with a link to each recorded session as it is released.***
IST will offer follow up visits to individual schools by one of our consultants for teacher support, coaching and sharing of practice., should they require it.
