Ruth Croser
IST will be facilitating an NCCD moderation day from 10am-2pm. Our focus will be on reviewing and moderating ILP’s to determine levels of adjustment.

Please bring along to the meeting a minimum of at least 2 complete ILPs to moderate. It would be preferable for each person attending to have two separate ILP’s each.

As a suggestion you may want to consider bringing along a data set of, or evidences of adjustment for, a student whose broad Category of Disability or Level of Adjustment you are having difficulty determining. This session will be a great opportunity to utilise expertise of others during the day and cross-compare to help with your decision-making processes.

Note: You will also need to bring along a laptop to access the NCCD website.

What you will learn

  • 1.5: Differentiate teaching to meet the specific needs of students across the full range of abilities.
