Who is speaking
IST will be facilitating an NCCD moderation day from 10am-2pm. Our focus will be on reviewing and moderating ILP’s to determine levels of adjustment.
As a suggestion you may want to consider bringing along a data set of, or evidences of adjustment for, a student whose broad Category of Disability or Level of Adjustment you are having difficulty determining. This session will be a great opportunity to utilise expertise of others during the day and cross-compare to help with your decision-making processes.
What you will learn

- Focus area 1.6: Strategies to support full participation of students with disability
- Focus area 2.3: Curriculum, assessment and reporting
- Focus area 5.3: Make consistent and comparable judgements
- Focus area 5.4: Interpret student data
- Focus area 7.2: Comply with legislative, administrative and organisational requirements
- Focus area 7.4: Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities
