Who is speaking
Join us for this webinar led by the Services for Children and Families DECYP team where we will review processes pertaining to mandatory reporting in Tasmania.
The object of the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1997 (the Act) is to provide for the care and protection of children in a manner that maximises a child's opportunity to grow up in a safe and stable environment and to reach his or her full potential.
The 2022 update of the OER Non-government schools re-registration requirements stipulates several new requirements pertaining to child safety. In this session there will be opportunity to ask questions and clarify any queries relating to being a prescribed person with a mandate to report.
