This webinar is designed for schools, particularly smaller schools, wanting to establish a VET in Schools program.

The session will take participants through:

  • Assessing the type and viability of a VETiS program including student demand and employment and training opportunities
  • Identifying how the program will be delivered –qualifications for VET teacher, qualification to be delivered, who will deliver it, how it will be delivered
  • Costs of using and choosing a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • Managing the VET program including overseeing work placements and assessment approaches
  • Common challenges and ways of managing them.
