VET Newsletter Edition 12

This newslet­ter pro­vides infor­ma­tion and advice to sup­port schools either offer­ing VET and voca­tion­al learn­ing pro­grams or plan­ning to in the near future. 

In this edi­tion we report on the high­ly effec­tive VET pro­gram St Michael’s Col­le­giate edu­ca­tion­al coun­sel­lor Lin­da Bon­nitcha is run­ning, out­line the exten­sive resources sup­port­ing ​“Food and Fibre” devel­oped by the Pri­ma­ry Indus­tries Edu­ca­tion Foun­da­tion Aus­tralia (PIEFA), and inter­view TAsTAFE’s Man­ag­er Edu­ca­tion and Train­ing, Rachel Hol­land, on how TAFE will work with schools. We also report on the House of Rep­re­sen­ta­tives Inquiry into the Per­cep­tions and Sta­tus of Voca­tion­al Edu­ca­tion and Train­ing and on devel­op­ments in how RTO-School agree­ments can be bet­ter understood.
