Who is speaking
Effective evaluation and reflection drives ongoing iimprovement in curriculum delivery and teacher practice.
A single conversation, positive or negative, can determine a family’s opinion of your classroom. For this reason, it is essential to develop effective communication skills and to use them from the very start of the school year.
Join us as we discuss how to critically reflect on:
- What worked well and why?
- What will I do differently next time?
- How can I further extend children’s learning?’
Why 10/20/30?To save people from death-by-PowerPoint, Guy Kawasaki, a Silicon-Valley based author, speaker, entrepreneur, and evangelist, proposed a 10/20/30 rule for presentations. The 10/20/30 rule states that a presentation, “Should have ten slides, last no more than twenty minutes, and contain no font smaller than thirty points.” In 2024, we will be presenting one webinar per term using the 10/20/30 rule. With just 10 slides, 20 minutes of time and size 30 font, each webinar will be short, sharp, to the point and packed full of practical, best-practice, research-based, learning and support. |
