This 90 minute event, will focus on understanding and implementing the AC: Mathematics V9.0 Years 7 to 10, to support mathematical proficiency and a positive disposition in mathematics.
During this event, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Better understand the intent of the AC: M V9.0. The focus will be on new areas of content such as:
- The mathematical processes, including mathematical modelling, statistical investigation and computational thinking.
- Algorithmic thinking and probability simulations and experiments.
- 3-dimensional coordinate systems.
- Logarithmic scales.
- Error; and networks.
- Discover how the exploration of previous curriculum content has evolved to provide more opportunities to meaningfully link the teaching and learning of mathematics to the three-dimensions of the Australian Curriculum.
