Move beyond basic comprehension strategies to create powerful learning experiences that combine background knowledge, vocabulary development, and text-based units. Learn how to effectively model and differentiate comprehension instruction. Develop expertise in monitoring student understanding through multiple approaches, recognising that successful comprehension instruction is not about one strategy, but a sophisticated combination of proven techniques. This session will be facilitated by Jocelyn Seamer.
