Suzie Keil (IST Literacy Consultant).
This full-day event, will focus on DIBELS, an evidence-based universal screening tool that can be used to measure student progress in reading, reflect on the impact of teaching, set goals for future success, and identify gaps in student knowledge so that they can be addressed in a timely manner.

During this event, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore why it is vitally important to adopt valid and reliable reading assessments, such as DIBELS.
  • Learn how to accurately conduct all six subtests, with fidelity.
  • Practice administering each of the subtests with opportunities for questions and feedback.
  • Explore how to use the DIBELS data to inform teaching strategies and improve school-wide reading outcomes.
