A 10/20/30 EARLY YEARS LIVE WEBINAR

A successful transition from home to school should be a smooth and positive move from the familiar and nurturing environment of home to the progressively more structured and academically focused environment of school.

Join us as we explore what a successful transition looks like, why a successful transition to school is crucial for later academic success, and what schools should do to ensure successful transitions from home to kindergarten and from Kindergarten to Prep.

Why 10/20/30?

To save people from death-by-PowerPoint, Guy Kawasaki, a Silicon-Valley based author, speaker, entrepreneur, and evangelist, proposed a 10/20/30 rule for presentations. The 10/20/30 rule states that a presentation, “Should have ten slides, last no more than twenty minutes, and contain no font smaller than thirty points.”

In 2024, we will be presenting one webinar per term using the 10/20/30 rule. With just 10 slides, 20 minutes of time and size 30 font, each webinar will be short, sharp, to the point and packed full of practical, best-practice, research-based, learning and support.
