Tim Chugg & Ruth Croser (IST Inclusion Support Consultants) and Together for Humanity and Catholic Schools Tasmania.
In partnership with Catholic Schools Tasmania, this full day event will focus on Together for Humanity giving an overview of resources and presenting on Responding to Racism and Hate Speech in the Classroom and Playground.
During this event, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Consider the impacts of racism on wellbeing and belonging.
- Consider forms of hurtful and harmful language
- Consider strategies for effectively responding to students using hurtful language.
- Consider supporting the targets of racism and hate speech.

Together For Humanity is an inclusive, not-for-profit educational organisation that works with school communities to combat prejudice and advance belonging and inclusion.
